Dr Thawatchai’s career bridges circular economy expertise, industrial implementation, business strategy, and policy and standards development. As Vice-Chair of EuroCham Singapore’s Green Economy Committee, he advances EU–Singapore–ASEAN collaboration for competitiveness and supply chain resilience.

His 15+ years of experience include roles as Scientist at the NUS Environmental Research Institute, specializing in resource recovery innovation with two US patents and peer-reviewed publications and Director of Product Development for circular textile products. Currently as a Regional Lead of Corporate Sustainability Office at TÜV SÜD, he translates policies and standards into decarbonization, circularity and supply chain solutions.

His contributions to the ISO/TC 323’s ISO 59000 family of Circular Economy standards development, Singapore Standards Council’s working group and Singapore Fashion Council’s Sustainability Committee connect global frameworks with regional standards development and sectoral implementation.
