He previously held leadership roles across sectors such as healthcare, retail, and energy, and brings entrepreneurial experience. Global trade dynamics and sustainable sourcing continue to inspire his work.

Kamal Seth is the Climate & Sustainability Director and Global Palm Oil Lead at WWF-Singapore. He drives initiatives that leverage the finance sector to transform energy and commodities markets towards net-zero and nature-positive outcomes. Working with corporations, financial institutions, civil society, and governments, he advances UN SDG 12 on Responsible Consumption and Production, SDG 13 on Climate Action, and SDG 15 on Life on Land. Kamal serves on the RSPO Board, co-chairs key committees, and contributes to global platforms including the World Economic Forum, UNDP, and OECD-FAO, with a strong focus on halting deforestation and supporting smallholders.

Shaleen Shahrin

Shaleen’s experience lies in the sustainability space, including circular economy, sustainability reporting, sustainability assurance and working at a sustainability startup. She has gained experience working for clients in various sectors such as governments, renewable energy real estate, hospitality, financial institution, healthcare and logistics industries in Asia and the Middle East. Her academic background includes a BA in Business Accounting and MSc in Environmental Management. Shaleen is currently pursuing her PhD in Circular Economy focusing on the hearing-aid industry while working at WSA. She strives to create sustainable impact both professionally and academically.

Dr. Huay Ling Tay

Dr. Huay Ling Tay is an Associate Professor at the Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS), specializing in logistics and supply chain management. She holds a Ph.D. in Operations Management from the University of Melbourne, with academic training from Georgia Tech and NUS. Her research and teaching focus on Lean Six Sigma, sustainable supply chains, and humanitarian logistics. With extensive consultancy experience in supply network analysis, chemical logistics, and healthcare operations, Dr. Tay bridges academic insight with practical application. Her published work explores performance measurement and process improvement, contributing to more resilient, efficient, and responsible supply chain practices.

Huey Chyi Tan

Huey Chyi serves as the Director of Sustainability at the Singapore Fashion Council (SFC), the official association for the textile and fashion industry in Singapore. SFC aims to position Singapore as a vibrant Asian hub for responsible fashion.

She brings more than 20 years of international experience across manufacturing and B2B sectors, with a rich blend of expertise in strategic sustainability, ESG reporting, marketing, business planning, and engineering. In her current role, Huey Chyi is dedicated to fostering and enabling responsible practices that drive systemic transformation and positive impact in fashion and textile.

Huey Chyi completed an MSt in Sustainability Leadership from the University of Cambridge, an MSc in Management of Technology from the National University of Singapore, and a BEng in Chemical Engineering with a specialisation in Bioprocess.

Known for a results-oriented approach, they excel at identifying and eliminating performance bottlenecks to drive high performance and deliver best-in-class outcomes. Additionally, they bring expertise as a Corporate HSES and Quality Auditor.
