Robert Trebus is Director of Global Sustainability at d&b audiotechnik and a key figure in advancing ESG practices in the live event industry. He led the development of SustainSymphony, a cloud-based platform focused on ESG reporting, CO₂ reduction, and resource efficiency for venues, organizers, and suppliers. Trebus serves as Board Member for Sustainability at VPLT – the German Entertainment Technology Association – and chairs the Sustainable Event Standards committee at DIN. Internationally, he contributes to ISO 20121:2024 and ISO TC 228. He is also active in the Circular Economy Alliance, European Remanufacturing Council, and Carbon Accounting Alliance, promoting circularity and transparency.
