Arianna Nicoletti is a Berlin-based practitioner and a prominent advocate for sustainable fashion, specialized in circular textile systems. Over the past 15 years, she co-founded the fashion label Aluc, The Upcycling Fashion Store, and Water to Wine, a second-hand material pool for upcycling designers. From 2017 to 2023, her ventures Green Fashion Tours and Circular Economy Tours educated and engaged over 100,000 people through interactive and community-focused events. Currently, Arianna serves as Co-Managing Director and Textiles Lead at Circular Berlin, driving significant progress in the implementation of local circular systems. She also works as a Circular Design & Textile Solutions expert for the fashion consulting agency Closed Loop Fashion, as auditor for sustainable textile certifications, and contributes to various research projects, workshops, and seminars.
