Andrea is the Policy Manager for Sustainable Markets at Bellona Europa, where he coordinates policy and advocacy work on issues including the EU Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism, the EU Emissions Trading System and Sustainable Finance. Prior to joining Bellona, Andrea worked as a consultant for governments, public institutions, and the private sector on climate change policy, human rights, and government affairs. He holds an MSc in Politics and Governance of International Development from Wageningen University (Netherlands) and a BSc in International Relations from the University of Bologna (Italy).
